Just received this unit. Instead of a lock bolt and retainer, it has a stud with 2 nuts on it. What torque value should be applied to the lower nut, and the jam nut?

How hard does the assistant apply the brakes in the coach during calibration?

What about theory? There wasn't a diagram or animation to show how it actually works. How does the coach brake air pressure work to create a vacuum in the toad's brake diaphragm? Is there a vacuum pump in the box to do that?

do a video on vehicle weight restrictions when using a tow dolly. Example, tow dolly rated at 5,000 pounds with 750 pounds tongue weight. A Chevy Traverse or compatible size vehicle hits the scale around 4,600 pounds which leaves a margin of 400 pounds. Since the dolly is carrying approximately 2/3 of the vehicle weight, motor, trans etc., what is the safety factor or any concerns. The usually weight ratio from front to rear is divided as 60/40 as a general rule for front wheel drive vehicles. I would love to see a clear video on this topic because there isn't any clarity on this topic, not even from dealerships or towing companies such as U-haul. Now with that said, a gas motor coach is usually rated at 5,000 maximum towing capacity and a diesel motor coach can tow considerable more, theoretically speaking. Of course the hitch type can be a limit as well. What is your take on this? Me, just curious. (I flat tow)

Thanks for posting this - I have a Demco swiveling car dolly built in the 1980s (I believe it was made for one of the rental companies) that I am still using and between me and my friends (all gearheads/mechanics) we have towed several dozen cars with it over the years. One of these days I may add surge brakes to it as that would help greatly when towing heavier vehicles with a pickup truck, so thank you for that product line as well! And I am so glad to see that there are still American manufacturing companies that are a vital part of their local community - we need to get back to more of this like we used to before the last 40-50 years of off-shoring our manufacturing jobs. So thank you for caring about your employees and your community!

Between you and Demco you both must be clueless, isolation switches must be connected on the NEGATIVE side of the battery.Current flows from negative to positive, unless you are flat earther nut. Further, if you have isolated one side of the battery (neg.) how on earth can current flow? you're too stupid to be called monkey.

I know this is an old video, but I can't find the answer on Google. I'm borrowing an old Denali, and the battery drained over night, every night. It's got a short somewhere and it's owners wouldn't let me do anything but put a new battery in it and some disconnects. I put a disconnect on the positive and one on the negative, will this completely cut off any possibility of overnight drainage? Edit: when they put the original disconnect on it, they put it on the positive side, and it still drained that's why I've put two on it.

I would get this, but I'm worried about how far down the wheel stops go in. Looks like my RWD sports car will lose it's bumper

Bought a Kar caddy ss . Put it together however the black housing around the tail lights is so loose even with the light snapped into position they fall out during transport. This can’t be normal.

I see this is the KarKaddy X is for lower profile vehicles, but it doesn't fold up like the KarKaddy SS. I need the folding capabilities of the SS, but I have a Toyota Prius, will the SS work for me?

I have the Demco “EZ” hitch system for my Airstream. This is a first class POS. Unless you have 15 min to level/unlevel and jigger this thing, DO NOT BUY THIS POS!!!
